Mattress Buying Guide
Choose your mattress in three steps
1. Pick a construction
Memory foam contours closely and helps reduce motion transfer. Pocket-coil and innerspring mattresses offer responsive support and easier airflow. Pillowtop and Eurotop models add a cushioned comfort layer.
2. Choose your feel
Plush feels softer and more enveloping. Medium offers a balance of cushioning and support. Firm provides a steadier, more supportive sleep surface.
3. Confirm your size
Measure your bed frame and room before ordering. Twin and Twin XL suit compact rooms, Double offers extra width, Queen is the most common couple size, and King provides the most shared sleeping space.
Quick comparison
- Cooling priority: consider gel foam, breathable covers or coil construction.
- Motion isolation: consider memory foam or individually wrapped pocket coils.
- Stronger edge support: look for reinforced-edge coil models.
- Convenient delivery: look for mattresses described as compressed or boxed.
